Lynn Women: Fighting Knights win by 20 to pick up Sixth Win of the Season

Boca Raton, Florida – The Fighting Knights absolutely dominated from start to finish to pick up their third-straight win, and their sixth of the young season. The 20-goal victory was the largest margin of victory in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn scored the first nine goals of the game, shutting out Davis & Elkins for the first 20:36 of the contest.
- In the first quarter, Sydney Hill found Isabella Clark for the game’s first goal just 36 seconds in.
- Clark then found Kristyn Johnson seconds later to put Lynn up 2-0 less than one minute into the game.
- Johnson would score again off an assist from Hill, then Hill would connect with Carly McNeil for Lynn’s fourth goal of the game.
- Clark would assist Danielle Farinas on her first goal of the game, the Farinas would assist Mallory Jarka just seconds later.
- Johnson would cap the period with her third goal, again from Hill, to put Lynn on top 7-0 heading into the second quarter.
- Hill and Johnson would connect immediately in the second, the Hill would score herself.
- After Davis & Elkins scored on their first shot of the game, Lauren Dickson added two goals.
- Ava Trankina would then score her first goal as a Fighting Knight, beating the keeper off a pass from Farinas.
- In the second half, Lynn did not concede a single goal and outscored Davis & Elkins 9-0.
- Jarka scored first, then Dickson added her third of the game off a pass from Haley Craig.
- Farinas, McNeil and Jarka would all add to their fantastic days before the fourth quarter.
- In the fourth, Clark and Johnson connected once again to put Lynn up 18-1.
- Bayley Tracy and Jordyn McCullough would then join in on the action, scoring their first goals of the game.
- Jarkas would put the finishing touches on the game, scoring Lynn’s final goal with 6:12 remaining.
- As a team, Lynn outshot Davis & Elkins 42-5, and they had 14 ground balls to just three for the Senators.
- Bridget Beacom led the way with three ground balls, while Johnson, Ginger Stein and Catherine Whitcomb all recorded two.

The Fighting Knights will welcome Palm Beach Atlantic to Bobby Campbell Stadium on Wednesday, Mar. 16 at 6 p.m.
