BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University women’s lacrosse schedule for the upcoming 2023 season has been released and the Fighting Knights are set to open their season on the second weekend of February.
The ’23 slate features 12 homes games, six away games and a run of nine-straight home games at Bobby Campbell Stadium that starts with Regis on Saturday, February 18 at 1:00 pm.
The Fighting Knights, who finished the 2022 season ranked 18th in the IWLCA Division II Poll, will face one of the toughest schedules in the nation as six opponents were ranked in the final poll last spring and four additional opponents received votes. Lynn will square off against No. 7 Florida Southern, No. 10 Regis, No. 11 Tampa, No. 15 Rollins, No. 19 Embry-Riddle and No. 23 New Haven. Saint Leo, Davenport, Florida Tech and Alabama-Huntsville were receiving votes in the final poll.
Lynn’s season opener will be at Alabama-Huntsville on Friday, February 10 at 4:00 pm
The Fighting Knights open the Sunshine State Conference portion of their schedule on Saturday, April 1 at Florida Southern at 1:00 pm.
