Cornell Nabs Two Ivy League Weekly Men’s Lacrosse Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – After a pair of victories including a thrilling double-overtime victory against No. 4 Syracuse, Cornell swept the Ivy League men’s lacrosse weekly honors as attackman Michael Long and goalie Wyatt Knust were honored for their notable individual performances.

  • Totaled 33 saves on the week
  • Subbed into the game against Syracuse and played a large role in flipping the script.
  • In just two quarters and one and a half overtime periods, Knust totaled a .750 save percentage that included nine stops against the Orange
  • Maintained a clean sheet when it mattered most, making four saves across seven minutes of extra time
  • Made a career-best 24 saves against Brown, tying for an NCAA Division I high this season and the most for an Ivy since April 23, 2022. Knust maintained a .750 save percentage against the Bears.
