What Advice Would You Give Those Starting the Recruiting Process?
|Relax, if you don’t get your dream school offer September 1st you don’t need to stress out. It’s a long process and there’s a place for you that you don’t even know exist.
Who Would You Like to Thank for Getting You to Here?
|My dad, he put a stick in my hand as soon as possible and kept me going the whole way. Playing mens league with him and his friends had taught me so much on the field.
What are your first memories of the sport?
|Rec league in elementary school was just the best time with my friends. Goofing around at practices and getting into it with rival teams at such a young age really started my high school rivals as well. It’s crazy to be playing all these years later with kids that 4th grade me wanted to fight all the time. And playing at the next level with them is so awesome and that’s why lacrosse is special.
What is Your Favorite Memory From Your High School Career?
|The trip to the final four with the team last season was by far the best memories. While it didn’t end the way we wanted, I loved every minute of it. I’m sure we’ll make a lot more this year.
What is Your Stick Brand? And Why?
|Havoc on a carbon pro has been my go to for a while now. Light, comfortable, and it just works best for me.
Which Lacrosse Player Do You Most Want to Have a Meal With and Why?
|Kyle Hartzell, I’d love to go in depth with him about lacrosse. Not even specific details about how to cover people or drills. Just what lacrosse means to him and how he’s made a difference in other peoples lives through lacrosse. And he also lives a pretty awesome life outside of lacrosse.
Do You Watch College & Pro Games and What Are You Watching for to Make You a Better Player?
|I’ve gotten into watching lacrosse a lot more recently. I always grew up around lacrosse. And everything from watching college games to scrolling on Instagram seeing highlight clips. I watch everything about a defenseman from how he acts after getting scored on to how he bounces back the next play and makes a play.
What’s Your Go-To Meal After a Game?
|Chick-Fil-a sandwich and a milkshake can’t be beaten.
What’s the One Thing Your Teammates Would be Surprised to Know About You?
|I’m really into sculpture class. I’ve been taking it the last 4 years and it’s been something I’ve loved doing in high school.
