Kids from all over the map are filling DIII rosters, and a 2024 class that is still in early phases is shaping out to be loaded with talent. Ahead of Sept. 1 — the date of first contact for the 2025 class — let’s get into the commitment excitement spirit with a deeper look at a few recent high-caliber DIII commitments in the 2024 class.

Babson is coming off a historic year and a NEWMAC title, converting that success in to recruits in the 2024 class is prudent, and Trafton is an ideal staple within that class. Trafton’s quickness at the X is nearly unmatched; quick hands enable quick exits, and he loves to go forward where he can create transition. Among his highest qualities is his handle and composure as a ball-carrier following wins. Poles and pressure either directly off the draw or from the wing rarely throw off his rhythm.
