2023 USILA / Dynamic Team of the Week – Division II – Week of March 13

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2023 Division II Dynamic Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday, March 14. Ten players earned recognition from the organization as they each posted exceptional performances in their programs games this past week.

The list of honorees are as follows:

Kyle Decrispino Attack Millersville, Md. Gr. Lander
Kyle went 2g,1a in a win over Tusculum and registered 8g, 3a in a win over Barton.

Jed Brummett Attack Glen Rock, PA Sr. Colorado Mesa
Jed led the way offensively with 3 goals in our win against #7 Rollins College. He added 3 ground balls and was the vocal leader on offense setting the team up for success

Sean Cosgrove Attack Warwick, NY Fr. Dominican University NY
Points in 2 games, both wins, Game high 3 goals against UDC and game high 8 points on 3 goals and 5 assists aginst UDC. 

Dougie Crawford Defense Keswick, ON Jr. UIndy
Had a game high in GBs- 7 and Caused Turnovers- 4 he also added a goal on the offensive end.

Shannon led a defensive unit that allowed just 8.00 goals per contest this week as the 19th-ranked Moccasins defeated Clark 22-9 before knocking off Young Harris 26-6. In the victory over the Cougars, FSC saw Clark commit 22 turnovers with 12 being forced by the FSC defense. Shannon forced two of those turnovers while scooping up three ground balls. In the win over the Mountain Lions, FSC forced 19 of YHC’s 30 turnovers led by Shannon’s five caused turnovers. The senior also scooped up two ground balls in the win. Shannon now leads the SSC in caused turnovers per contest (3.00) while ranking in the top-10 nationally.
