St Thomas Alum Trace McDonald selected as the PBC Player the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College attacker Trace McDonald was selected as the Peach Belt Conference’s Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week as released by conference officials on Monday.

This is the second time this season McDonald has received the weekly conference award.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native scored six goals and tallied three assists against Colorado Mesa University last Thursday night. The nine points was tied for the most points in a game this season in the Peach Belt. The six goals scored tied for third most goals in a game this year. McDonald is tied for assists per game this season with 2.30 per game, third in points per game (4.5), fourth in goals per game (2.2).

Flagler hosts The University of Alabama in Huntsville on Saturday in the conference opener at the Flagler Lacrosse Field at noon.
