STU: Women’s Lacrosse Eager to Begin 2023 Season Tonight at Florida Tech

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (February 7, 2023)- The St. Thomas University (STU) Women’s Lacrosse team begin their inaugural season today at Florida Tech. This will be the Bobcats first game of the fourteen game 2023 season.
 
After STU gets the season started today at Florida Tech, the Bobcats will be on the road again in four days, as they travel to Lake Wales to take on another first year program in Warner University. Four more days after that, Ave Maria pays a visit to AutoNation Field for the first home match in St. Thomas history.
 
The Bobcats will hit the road once again after a short break, and take on Webber International in Babson Park, Fla. The next three matchups will take place at home at AutoNation Field. The first will be against Dominican University March 1st, and the second will be against #10 Siena Heights March 6th, and the last of the three game home stand will be on March 14th against William Penn.
 
That next Saturday the Bobcats will take on Ave Maria, this time on the road at Gyrene Field. The next three games STU return home for another home stand, first game they will face Saint Ambrose on March 22nd, and the day after will go up against Warner University for the second time in 2023, and will round it out with the #7 ranked team in the country, Life University.
 
Hitting the road, STU will travel back to Babson Park, Fla. to take on Webber International for the second time. The Bobcats then will head back home for the biggest test of their young program, and match up against the #4 ranked Keiser University. The final game of the 2023 regular season, the Bobcats will compete against the #5 team in the country in SCAD-Savanah.
