TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women’s lacrosse clinches spot in Sunshine State Conference Championship Tournament with win over Saint Leo.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
1st Half
- Saint Leo started off strong with four goals in a row.
- Amanda Voges was the first Spartan goal, converting a free position attempt.
- The Lions answered back with a goal, now leading 5-1.
- With 1:21 left in the half, Voges strikes again.
- Caroline Forester had the last goal of the half, assisted by Voges. Going into the second half trailing Saint Leo 5-3.
- Abby Coccagna had the first goal of the second half to bring the score within one goal.
- Saint Leo extends their lead to two goals with a free position goal.
- With 22:24 left in the half, Voges had her third goal of the game and tying the game.
- Rachel Crawford had three goals in a row to give Tampa the lead of 9-6.
- Voges struck again at 8:36.
- Forester converted a free position attempt for her second goal of the game.
- Crawford had her fourth goal in a man-up situation.
- With one second left on the clock, Senior Kelly Austin secures Tampa’s victory for the 13th Spartan goal of the game.
- Voges led all Spartans in points with four goals and one assist.
- Crawford had four goals, tallied one ground ball and one caused turnover.
- Claire Swanson led the team in draw controls with three, marking two ground balls and one caused turnover.
- Rom and Coccagna each tallied one goal.
- Kelsey Burns finished with two goals, bringing her career total to 111.
- Caroline Fraser finished with 22 assists this season for 45 for her career.
