via press release   ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Lacrosse Showcase, regarded as the top NCAA and MCLA recruiting event in the Southeast, announced today a partnership of its Mother’s Day event, May 12-13, 2018 in Orlando, Florida with Inside Lacrosse and Crabs Lacrosse. This year’s event also marks the appointment of John Jez as the director of college recruiting and placement. John is a two-time NCAA Division II championship head coach who has won 140 games during his career. The Florida Lacrosse Showcase has more than 100 NCAA and MCLA college coaches in attendance scouting and evaluating the boys and girls participating. In addition to recruiting activities, there is a youth camp that is also taught by the attending coaches to give future young lacrosse players the opportunity to learn from the best as they develop early on in the sport. “Partnering with national leaders like Inside Lacrosse and Crabs Lacrosse is an opportunity I did not want to miss,” said showcase director Tom West. “Both organizations help raise the bar to make this event a nationally recognized showcase.” Crabs Lacrosse is an established national leader in scholastic club lacrosse.
