Note, we’ll also update on the MLL efforts too. There is a video to watch at the link, which is HERE The Premiere Lacrosse League changed their format this year for the current economic and social realities and have come up with a single-location 2 week format for the now 7-team league to play. There will be a group play to determine seeding and th #1 seed will receive the only Bye into the Semifinals.
How It Works
The league’s seven teams will compete in a fourteen-game group play format to determine seeding for the following week’s single-elimination tournament.
Group Play
July 25th – August 2nd All 7 teams will each play 4 games – matchups will be drawn randomly in June
Elimination Round
August 4th – August 9th Seeding will be determined by: [1] Win/Loss record & [2] Aggregate point differential
The Competition
I’m not sure if the PLL Access Pass for $19.99 will be required for all games. There should be some normal cable broadcasts along the way.
