New camp format combines lacrosse camp with learning seminars with Competitive Edge of FL designed to increase ACT/SAT standardized test scores.

BABSON PARK, Fla. (June 21, 2021) – It was announced today by Webber Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach and Director of True Lacrosse Tampa Chris Burdick that Webber will be hosting a new pilot program that combines ACT/SAT preparation study seminars with a lacrosse prospect camp. The College Prep 100 Lacrosse Camp is offered at Webber International University from July 27-29 and is open to boys in the graduate years of 2021-2025.

The combine will consist of four sessions of ACT/SAT prep with Competitive Edge of Florida, a test preparation organization who has shown in beta testing to advance standardized test scores by up to 14 percent on average. Students will receive all ACT/SAT preparation materials, test booklets and study guides in addition to 12 hours of instruction with a team of professional teachers designed approach testing content while teaching strategies to enhance performance on test day.

In addition to the standardized test preparation, campers will also participate in six on-field lacrosse sessions, including position training, college-level team concepts and games.

Campers can also choose to attend the Warrior Prospect Camp portion without the ACT/SAT combine for a reduced fee. Both overnight and commuter camp options are available.
