Lake Mary jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a fast break off the opening face-off. Matanzas midfielder Kong answered back a few minutes later to tie it up. Lake Mary then added two more goals on man up situations and scored three more in transition. Their lead would not be threatened for the rest of the game. The first quarter ended at 5-1 and the second quarter offered more of the same with Lake Mary leading at half 9-1. Coach Perkins has been able show great depth on this team. Lake Mary featured 18 players with goals against Father Lopez and 14 players netted one last night. Attackman Sean Manus had 2 goals and 5 assists, while Midfielder Cole Linquist scored two for the Rams.
