  MICHAEL BOLGER Truly Great Contributor Attack St. John’s University   South Florida Accomplishments:   Coach Pope John Paul II: Varsity Asst – JV 2003-2008, 2014 Served on the SFCUSL Board of Directors – 2004-present, VP 2007-08 and President 2009-10. While a member of the Board I have participated in hosting coaching clinics, referee clinics, fund raisers, event planning, referee meetings, etc… High School Interscholastic Associates Co-Founder with Jack Light and Charity Cox, helped write the by-laws for the IA’S. From 2006 -2011 – hosted all meetings pertaining to the High School Interscholastic Associates League (including scheduling, discipline, etc…) and was part of all major decisions pertaining to that league. HS certified referee – refereed the Interscholastic Associates State Championships 4 years, FHSAA Regional playoffs, Men’s Club State Championships and Youth leagues from Martin County to Weston. HS Area Chairman South Florida (2004-present) – Implemented the Boys All District Awards, All Regional awards to facilitate and ease the All American process. As Area Chairman I oversee all Boys US Lacrosse awards, host and conduct the awards meeting and process every year for All American, Academic All American, Coach and Asst Coach of the Year and Man of the Year. Attended the US Lacrosse National convention and discuss all major and minor issues in the HS game each year with other 82 Area Chairman from around the country. The accomplishment I am most proud of as Area Chairman is, on the National level, having the Academic All American process changed to one award for every ten teams in an area, it was one for every twenty teams. South Florida Chapter USL Hall of Fame selection committee secretary 2010-present. South Florida Chapter USL Hall of Fame Banquet Co-Organizer 2010-2012. Help train youth officials, on field shadowing and off field mentoring. Worked camps and clinics for youth through the HS age groups since moving to Florida in 2002.   Other Lacrosse Accomplishments:   All-time leading scorer St. John’s University… career leader in many categories — Lead team in scoring all four years. St. John’s University Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2014. Played for North Hempstead Lacrosse Club 1988-93 – lead team in scoring every season. Perennial all-star. Left as North Hempstead’s all-time leading scorer. Other Accomplishments: Teacher – Palm Beach County. Proud donor of a kidney to my Father in 2011.   Congratulations to Michael for being inducted into the South Chapter Hall of Fame!
