On Thursday afternoon, the American Heritage Plantation Lady Patriots crossed south over I-595 to take on local rivals the University School (Ft. Lauderdale) Suns in a District 23 match-up. After being tied 1-1 two minutes into the game, the Lady Patriots scored 15 unanswered goals and shutout the Suns the final 48 minutes of the game.
