Hiram Carter – Lake Brantley Position: Defense Height: 6′ 1″ Club Team: Team Florida and Orlando Possums Honors: 1st team all conference, Team Defensive player of the Year, Under Armour All American South Team Why Did You Choose Navy? Every thing about the Naval Academy was the right fit for me. The campus is amazing, the academics are second to none and the majors offered there are what I am looking for. Also I feel I can fit into the lacrosse program at Navy. Was the recruiting process what you thought it would be? Definitely not. I had really no idea what to expect and it was an experience for sure. I guess I thought it would be a lot easier. How Would You Describe Your Game And What Do You Want To Improve On? Everything, there is always room for improvement in every part of your game no matter how good you are. What Was Your First Lacrosse Experience? Ballin out with my boys in Seminole Lacrosse Club in the 7th grade. I had a mean power cradle. Who Was Your Biggest Lacrosse Influence? My friends, they made me the player I am today. Which College/Pro Players Do You Like Watching The Most? The Bernhardt brothers, they are hard working guys that are physically dominant on the field. What Is Your Lacrosse Goal For This Season? My goal is to have fun with my team that is what the game is all about. A win against Max Parker, Adam Sawicki, and the Lake Highland gang would be nice too but we will see. Do You Already Know What You Want To Study In College And What Is It? Naval architecture and/or Ocean Engineering About Me: Favorite Meal: Fresh seafood, any kind Favorite TV Show: Breaking Bad Favorite Sport Besides Lacrosse: Football What Is On Your IPod/Smart Phone for Music? Lots of 70s and 80s rock and some good ole country music. What Hobby Or Interest Do You Have That Would Surprise People Who Know You? I am an avid guitar player. Thank you Hiram for participating!
