By Quint Kessenich at InsideLacrosse.com Eighty players representing 27 states were divided into four teams and played three round-robin games at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex for the Champion All-America Showcase. The teams consisted of high school all-americans, mainly seniors with some 2014s sprinkled into the mix. The final was televised live on ESPNU on Friday night and featured a rousing comeback by the aptly named Team Pride,11-10 over Team Liberty. Quint Kessenich was on hand to call the final for ESPNU, and here are his 10 Players Who Impressed from the weekend. All of the rosters can be found at this link. “…Matt Ihm, Attack, 2013 Naples, Fla – PG Trinity Pawling Ihm showed well in the final game, bagging two left-handed goals. He has grown 2.5 inches during the past year and the extra PG time will allow him to fill out. Matt inherited a strong lacrosse IQ from his dad, Jeff (Farmingdale, LI), who was a teammate of mine at JHU.” See the rest other nine players who impressed Quint here….
