Bartram Trail over Flagler Palm Coast 18-9

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Both teams played strong in the first half, playing hard and clean. Bartram Trail scored first but it didn’t take Flagler Palm Coast long to come back. Both teams took advantage of EMO opportunities, being productive on more than 50% through- out the game. At the half the BT Bears were leading 6-4. In the second half the Bears dominated at the face-off X, gaining the possession on all but 4. The Bears were able to convert four of those face offs into quick goals. The Bulldogs struggled on to clear the ball in the face of the relentless pressure of BT’s ride. Bartram opened up the game in the third quarter, doing more damage than the Bulldogs could overcome. In the third they outscored FPC 8-1, three of which were perfectly executed draw and dumps. In the end the Bulldogs ran out of gas and BT ran away with the game to finish 18-9. Chase Hancok ended up with a great game for BT scoring 6 goals and dishing out 4 assists. It was Wes Adams, once again, for the Bulldogs netting another 4 goals. After a short break the Bears (6-1) will host Oak Hall (3-3) on March 24. Next up for Flagler Palm Coast (4-3) is a Friday night game at Nease (4-2).
