
Benjamin’s Robert Jacobs Leads Kenyon To Season Opening Win

Staff Note: Robert Jacobs decided to attend Kenyon College after as complete a recruiting effort as any Florida player has ever experienced. From the moment Kenyon was chosen, FLN could tell the family was very happy with the choice, from the academics to the coaches to the team. Robert spent most of his freshman year on the sideline, getting more and more playing time as the season progressed. This week, he has really made all of us Floridians proud and we look forward to more in the future.
We believe there is a school for every player who wants to continue his or her career. There are many, many great destinations and we hope each of you finds the right fit.
GAMBIER, Ohio – The Kenyon College Lords finally got a chance to start the 2015 lacrosse season Wednesday and they made the most of the opportunity, scoring four extra-man goals, playing solid defense, and routing the Capital University Crusaders, 11-2, in non-conference action at McBride Field.
Kenyon sophomore attack Robert Jacobs netted three of those four extra-man goals. His lone goal scored at even strength was a nifty behind-the-back flick that got the scoring started at the 11:02 mark of the first quarter. That goal came in transition and Jacobs was the beneficiary of an assist from classmate Cam Thomas.
