FloridaLacrosseNews.com is proud to announce that Bill Franklin will be joining the FloridaLacrosseNews.com team as our new Women’s Lacrosse Editor.  Bill’s long time exposure to Women’s Lacrosse in Florida as a coach, umpire, club founder and parent of five lacrosse playing girls brings of wealth of in-depth knowledge and contacts to give us greatly expanded coverage of college, youth and high school women’s lacrosse.  His wife is also an umpire and coach, and his two eldest girls are club and high school coaches.  Daughter #3 is a signed 2012 recruit to Marquette.  His youngest two daughters play travel lacrosse at the high school and middle school levels. Besides being a founder and girls/boys coach with BDM Lacrosse club, Bill is also the head boys coach at Miami Killian High School.
