Bishop Moore (11-3) defetated a pesky Northview, GA team on Saturday evening by a score of 14-10. The Hornets jumped out to a 4-1 1st quarter lead, but the Titans fought back in the 2nd, and were down 5-4 going into the half. The teams were knotted at 6 with a little over 4 minutes left in the 3rd when the Hornets rattled off 4 straight, including a nifty behind-the-back shot by Joey McMahan off a feed from LSM Alex Glazer. Northview added a goal at the horn, and it was 10-7, Bishop Moore, heading into the 4th. The Hornets then scored 4 of the next 5 goals to take a 14-8 lead and put the game out of reach. Northview got two late goals that made the final score 14-10. McMahan lead Bishop Moore with 6 goals and 5 assists, while Jack Tangeman added 5 goals and an assist. The Hornets will next travel to Bolles on 4/10 to take on the Bulldogs. Northview continues its Spring Break trip with a game at Lake Mary on 4/2.
