Games against all four of last years state semi-finalists as well as the reigning state club champion highlight the Bishop Moore 2012 schedule, arguably one of the toughest released to date.The Hornets start the season on the road 2/21 at Oviedo, and then three days later face perennial state powerhouse St. Andrew’s in their home opener.  A trip to Vero Beach is followed less than 24 hours later by a home contest against Tampa Jesuit.  The Hornets then head into their district schedule, with games against The First Academy, Edgewater, Boone and defending state champion Lake Highland.Bishop Moore will host this year’s O’Town Showdown, with both boys and girls games on tap.  The girls will play on Thursday, 3/8, the boys on Friday, 3/9, and everybody will get together on Saturday for a full day of lacrosse at Memorial Stadium.  Bishop Moore will face Winter Park and Timber Creek.The Hornets then travel to South Florida to take on W.T. Dwyer and two-time state club champion The Benjamin School.  West Orange visits on Senior Night, and Georgia power Northview comes to town on 3/31.  Rounding out the schedule are games against state semi-finalists Lake Brantley and Ponte Vedra, as well as a trip up north to visit Bolles.
