Boca Raton High School midfielder Jared Shickles signed with Belmont Abbey College in Belmont NC (Charlotte area). Belmont Abbey is a Division II liberal arts college in the Carolina Conference. Shickles, a team Captain, was named 2011Team MVP. He earned All-District and All-League honors with 53 goals and 20 assists. In addition to Boca High, Shickles played club for Palm Beach Select, Florida Elite and Swashbucklers. He would like to thank his family, his travel coaches, and Coach Paolono at Boca High.
