Bracket Challenge: Final Results !!
Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in Uncategorized.
Well, the final results are in the books and the 2015 Bracket Challenge come down to a . . .
Heck of a race.
Believe it or not, TWO POINTS SEPARATED 1 through 4.
But first, a word from our sponsor:
Now that we come back from our commercial interruption, the results you have been waiting for . . .
It’s a TIE. Two entrants finished with 53 points!
Which is like kissing your sister as the old saying goes.
But because we didn’t have a tie-breaker . . .
Because the dumb writer didn’t think of one . . .
We’ll just have to remember to ask the participants to give the final score next year.
Or maybe just flip a coin?
So, without further ado . . .
Oh, sorry, have to pay the bills:
Didn’t think you’d avoid this one did you?
OKAY.
Here it is:
First Place – A Tie
David Ott and Mark Albers with 53 points each!!
They were tied with 36 points each coming into the Final Four and even though both had only 2 of the Final Four teams correct they were able to get the two finalists and the winner correct to pull it out!
Third Place
Kepler Funk with 52 points – If only he had taken Newsome in the first round he would have at least tied for first!
Fourth Place
Dan Caligiuri with 51 points – showing that there is one Caligiuri who did not win a championship last weekend! Bragging rights to Griff this year!
Thanks to all who participated!! Better luck next year.
