Bracket Challenge: Third Round Results

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
The third round spread the results out further as the effect of Ponte Vedra’s loss to Lake Mary was really felt in the amount of entrants that had them going to Bradenton.  Throw in the split responses on SA and Jupiter and we have some movement again, but not in the Top position as Carl Newhouse went 3/4.  Not a single entrant has all four Final Four teams.   For those who don’t remember, we will use the 1/2/3/5/7 point totals for each round, so the first round games got a point for a correct prediction, 2 for the 2nd round, etc.   First Place: Carl Newhouse – went 3/4 in the third round and has retained the top spot with 40 total points   Second Place: John Prizer’s 3/4 lifts him into second place with a total of 37 points.  John and Carl have different championship predictions so this WILL BE SETTLED ON THE FIELD.   Two entrants are tied for third with 36 points each and two others with 35 and 34.  There are plenty of possibilities going forward!  Among the close pursuers there are STA supporters over SA, so that game holds the ability to change things greatly.  There are still 17 points up for grabs!   Thanks to all who entered!
