If you were watching this one on LSN and sat through the goalie duel between Florida’s Austin Kaut and Rochester’s (and JU’s) John Galloway (36 saves between them!) as they carried their play to a 5-4 Rattlers lead with 5 minutes left and turned it off . . . SHAME ON YOU! The last 5 minutes were incredible! After a few back and forth goals Rochester took a 2-goal lead with a little over a minute left.  An open look by co-captain Steven Brooks from 2 point land rocketed past Galloway to tie it up.  Rochester’s FOGO Simoneau popped the next draw forward and scored with a minute to go, only to be answered by Brooks on the EMO with seconds left to send it to OT. After winning the next draw through Will Gural’s effort, Coach Tom Mariano got the quick timeout just before Gural was checked, setting up the final look.  The offense passed around and Connor Buczek found Chazz Woodson from low right wing to the left wing and Woodson unleashed a rocket to the top left corner to end it.     Next up will be a trip to Ohio and a match-up with the Ohio Machine.  And right after that game the MLL College Draft occurs on the next day . . . could be a great weekend upcoming!
