thanks to Coach Wight for the submission!   The Cougars (3-1 over all, 2-0 in district) trounced district rival St. Stephens on Thursday night, 18-2. The Cougars showed their depth with 8 different players scoring and 8 different players assisting. Sophomore attack, Patrick Warren, led the way with 5 goals and 2 assists.  

The Cougars stingy defense has only let up 6 goals in the last 3 games. Mooney faces Sarasota Military Academy next for another district match up. A victory would give them a district sweep. St. Stephen’s travels to Immokalee on Tuesday.
