Cardinal Mooney improves to 5-1 in District 8 competition defeating All Saints Academy this on Friday night. Despite the low score it was a tough fought game on both sides with the Cougar defense holding strong. Mike Kahl led the Cougars in scoring with 2 of their 3 goals. Coaches quote: “I’m very proud of our defense but, we’ve got a tough run a head of us. Our last three games of the season are against very strong Naples area teams. We need to start generating some offense if we are going to have a shot at winning any of these last three games.” Next up for Cardinal Mooney (7-4) is a home game against Barron Collier (10-3).  The Saints (2-6) travel to Berkley Prep (0-8) on Friday.
