Coconut Creek, FL – November 22, 2013 Casey Powell and 22 Lacrosse announced that registration is now open for three amazing December 2013 Lacrosse Training Events in beautiful south Florida. All three club-style trainings include legendary coaching staff hand-picked by Casey Powell. Both boys and girls alike are excited to have the opportunity to be trained by two Tewaaraton Winners (like winning the Heisman in football), professional MLL players, a Hall Of Fame world renowned Coach, award winning All-Americans, as well as local high school coaches of the highest caliber.
Lacrosse players serious about taking their game to the next level can choose to participate in Powell’s “Legends Of Lacrosse” training club which will be coached by Tewaaraton winners Rob Pannell and Max Seibald, the exciting MLL Professionals from the New York Lizards. Training options for this once in a life time opportunity to be trained by true legends of the game include 6:00 to 8:00PM on Dec 6th at North Broward Prep in Coconut Creek, Florida and from 2:00 to 4:00PM on Dec. 7th at The Out-Of-Door Academy in Sarasota, Florida.
22Lacrosse.com is also offering a pair of “Holiday Day Camp” style training clubs, one for boys and one for girls. Both training clubs will be held at North Broward Prep in Coconut Creek, FL on Dec 28, 29, 30.
The boy’s version is called “Coach V’s Hall Of Fame Holiday Training Club” and will be run by Coach Kirk Ventiquattro, the Carthage High School lacrosse coach who introduced Casey Powell to lacrosse. Ventiquattro was inducted into the Upstate Chapter of the Lacrosse Hall Of Fame. His teams have won 80% of their games over his 25 year career as a high school coach. When asked why Casey is so excited about this event he said, “Coach Kirk is the best coach I ever had and I am truly excited that players in south Florida will have the chance to be trained by such an amazing man.” Coaching alongside Kirk will be his son, Mario Ventiquattro. Mario is currently an exceptional coach and professional MLL player with the Ohio Machine.
The girl’s version is called the “Gator Chomp All-American Holiday Training Club” and will be run by former University of Florida girl’s lacrosse standouts Kitty Cullen and Samantha Farrell. These two All-American, award winning superstars have gone on to becoming outstanding coaches and have designed their training for players who want to be the best they can be in the girl’s lacrosse game.
“Prizes and awards will be handed out at all of these events and there will be a fast-paced, exciting tourney held to determine the training club champions,” Casey Powell said. Powell continued, “I am really excited to be offering such amazing opportunities for the boys and girls of south Florida to become exceptional lacrosse players. Our December events are ‘no brainer’s’ for anyone serious about lacrosse. Also, keep your eyes and ears open because we’ll soon be announcing our “Deuces Wild” Charity Lacrosse Event to be held in January of 2014. It’s something we are doing to give back to the community and to kick off the beginning of the high school lacrosse season.”
