Central Florida Senior All-Star Game is Set

The annual US Lacrosse senior all star game is set to take place on May 24th at Lake Highland Prep.  There will be 26 of the top seniors from the West side taking on 26 top seniors from the East side. The game will feature six US Lacrosse All-Americans, three Academic All Americans and many, many NCAA commits. Player Introductions will begin at 7:00pm and Face off is at 7:30.  US Lacrosse will award All American and Academic All American plaques at half time. All Americans from Central Florida who will be recognized include; Jake Rooney, Sr., Attack, Timber Creek (Hofstra) Joey McMahan, Sr., Attack, Bishop Moore (Tampa) Sergio Salcido, Sr., Midfield, Winter Park (Syracuse) Austin Tamayo, Sr., Attack, Lake Highland (Washington and Lee) Dave Moore, Sr., Goalie, Lake Mary (St. Leo) Davis Anderson, Sr., Midfield, Lake Highland (Salisbury)   Academic All Americans include; John Wiese, Defense, Trinity Prep Alex Perez, Goalie, Oviedo Colin Kruger, Midfield, First Academy   Matt McGuffee of Lake Howell HS will also be receiving US Lacrosse’s “Bob Scott” award.
