Central Florida US Lacrosse Chapter Names Award Winners

The Orlando Chapter of USLacrosse conducted its 2015 Season Awards Meeting at Bishop Moore Catholic High School. This year the Central Florida area coaches awarded All America Awards to seven well deserving players.
The two-time defending State Champion, Lake Highland, led the way with three players named All American. Senior attackman Kyle Richbourg, Senior Midfielder Reid Thedford and the lone defender on the list Senior Griff Caliguiri. Senior Midfiellder Alex Proly became Seminole High School’s first ever All American. Senior Attackmen Thatcher Clark of Winter Park and Junior Jared Bernhardt of Lake Brantley etched their names into their school’s rich traditions. Lake Mary Senior Goalie Chandler Harrison rounded out the 2015 selections.
Lake Mary Head Coach Garrick Robinson was recognized as Coach of the Year. His Rams recently won their 4th consecutive district title and have been undefeated in the Seminole Athletic Conference for the past two years.
Seminole High School’s Tanner Gard was named Assistant Coach of the Year.
Oviedo Head Coach Rene Kortus was named Man of the Year for his impressive work at Oviedo High School.
