The one thing I expect to be consistent at both ends of the field tonight is great goal tending. Adam Sawicki (Lehigh) and Anthony Cicio (Manhattan) have been coming up big in big time games for a long time. Neither of these seniors are anything close to rookies. They will be at their best tonight.

Benjamin’s high speed attack unit of Andrew Packer, Ryan Silvester, and Jeremy Stauffer will be tested tonight by a strong LHP defensive team. Benjamin will be missing the first man off the bench tonight in Griffin Bowie after the high hit he took last night at the end of the game.
Griff Caligiuri, Christian Englehart, and Dylan Farwell will have their hands full with that group. Benjamin can really spread the field and play a wide field.
That great LHP defensive midfield led by Don Eidson and LSM Jacob Brantley-Head will have to match speed with Colin O’Hare and McKenna Johnston. Benjamin will be missing Will Nicklaus tonight who had the put away goal against Boca and Bobby O’Leary who was moved to close defense when standout defenseman John Dorsett went out with an ankle sprain.
Danny Borislow, who broke his jaw in the Boca game will be missed on defense, putting more pressure on the middies tonight. They will be looking for a big night from Chris Raso the LSM.
Lake Highland’s high powered midfield dodgers will be tough to match up as they have Will Wolfson, Reid Thedford, and sophomore Jackson Colling are all dangerous.
And of course, there’s the X factor. Can Max Parker go 28-0 two nights in a row? We doubt it. But Andrew Packer did well against Parker last time these two teams met. That could be a good show if Packer returns to the X tonight.
ESPN 106.3 reporter, Wells Dusenbury said to watch out for the emotional edge the Benjamin guys will be bringing to the field tonight. They are looking to overcome the loss of Borislow, Nicklaus, and now, Bowie. See his write up from last night’s game here.
