The North Florida Area Boys High School lacrosse coaches and the Girls High School Awards Committee voted for the 2015 US Lacrosse High School awards. The girl’s award winners will be announced at a later date.

The US Lacrosse Men’s Game All-American Awards/Recognition process itself is maintained by the US Lacrosse Men’s Game Coaches Subcommittee and administered locally by the High School Area Chairmen.
The Boys North Florida Area Award program was created in 2008. The Boy’s Area Chair is Adam Silva.
The US Lacrosse Women’s Game Awards program is administered by US Lacrosse. The Girls North Florida Area Award program was created in 2015. The Girl’s Area Chair is Diana Howard. This is the first year that North Florida has their own process for girl’s award selection. Up until this year all the North Florida High Schools Girl’s programs were included in the Central Florida area.
The Boys Area Chair oversees the selection of six (6) award categories. Each Area is required to participate in each of these categories.
· All-American (one AA for every 5 HS)
· All- Academic (one Academic for every 10 HS)
· Coach of the Year
· Assistant Coach of the Year
· Man of the Year (Area)
· Bob Scott Award
Lacrosse continues to grow in Florida. This year 4 more high schools in the North Florida area started playing lacrosse. There are now 37 boys and 26 girls high schools as part of the North Florida area. The award area spans from Jacksonville to Pensacola to Daytona Beach and Ocala.
