Creekside Defeats Flagler Palm Coast 18-3

Following Creekside’s win against Fletcher last week (19-3), the Creekside Knights walked away with another solid win against Flagler Palm Coast last night (18-3). Creekside traveled to Flagler Palm Coast and led after the 1st quarter 6-1 and then 10-1 at the half. The Knights put up a season-high 69 shots with the Flagler goalie having an outstanding night with 23 saves. The Knights had a balanced attack offensively with 10 different players scoring and 8 different players providing assists. 13 of the 18 goals scored were assisted. Freshman attackman, Tim Vanderlinde, led all scorers with 4 goals and 2 assists. Knights Senior, Christian Schlagbaum, finished with 3 goals and 1 assist. Julian Bonilla controlled the faceoffs with 9 wins and 8 groundballs while scoring 1 goal and 3 assists. Goalie, Jeff Dulaney, saw 12 shots making 2 saves with an 87% clearing percentage. Defensive player, Tiernan Hart, had 7 ground balls while midfielder, Bill Badders, had 6 ground balls.
