Five Floridians headed to the US Men’s National U-19 Try-Outs

The State of Florida is sending three players and two coaches to the Men’s National Team U-19 Try-outs next month.  The players who have been invited are St. Andrew’s Attack Connor Whipple,  Jacksonville University goalie Peter Deluca, and St. Thomas Aquinas Goalie Chris Selva.    Jimmy Oliver, who works for and coaches at Ponte Vedra High School and Bill Shatz of the Tampa Bay Fire organization, will be headed up to Baltimore as two of the twenty-four selectors. The try-outs will be taking place July 7th – 10th at UMBC.  The 23 players who make the final roster will head to Turku, Finland for the World Championships which begin July 20th 2012.
