Five Floridians Play for FCA National HS Team at Vail Tournament

FCA National team played in the High School division and ended up finishing in 3rd place.   FCA had players from all over the country and included five of the 23 players hailed from the Sunshine State.

The team went 4-1 on the week, including 2-0 in the seeding rounds and taking 4th Seed.  They defeated  Team North Texas 10-7 in quarter finals to advance to Semi Finals. They lost to  212 Select in the Semi Finals and then  beat Team America in OT 8-7 to take 3rd place in consolation game.
They were coached by UNC’s Frankie Kelly (older brother to UNC’s National Champion Stephen Kelly) and Tampa Jesuit Coach Brian Lemon.
