Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in Uncategorized.
Drew Minchew finished the 2014 season with 41 goals and 36 assists leading Pope to a 12-5 record. We asked Pope head coach Andy Bolger his thoughts about Drew.
“Drew is a dynamic player with tremendous athletic ability. He can dodge with either hand which make him a very tough match up for the opposing defenses. He can shoot on the run or find the open man. In the open field Drew is at his best, there are not many players that can match his his speed and toughness when he gets space to do what he does on the field. He makes the team better with his unselfish play and desire to be the best he can be every time he plays. He is quiet and leads by example. A pleasure to coach.”Full Name.
