Hagerty fights back to take one away from Trinity Prep

The Hagerty Huskies scored four late, unanswered goals to notch a great come from behind victory over the Trinity Prep Saints.  The Saints held a four goal lead at half time but managed only one goal in the third as the Huskies managed five goals, the fifth one coming with less than two minutes remaining in the third quarter to tie the game. Hagerty scored early in the fourth to take the lead for the first time in the game but the Saints battled back, scoring three straight goals. This got them back to a two goal lead with 8:00 left in the game.   The Huskies were not finished, however, scoring four unanswered goals. The last three came in with under three minutes left in the game. Andrew Bonnie scored 6 goals and picked up an assist and Eric Marshall added three goals and six assists and scored the on a drive from behind the goal to tie the game.   Austin Floeter garnered three points the Huskies.  John Savas had two goals and four assist including the game winner with 36 seconds left in the game.  Neil Paquin and Branson Mikell also scored for the Huskies.  Jacob Calloway had 15 saves in the goal for the Huskies. Dylan Davis scored five goals and won 20 of 23 face-offs at the” X.”  Long Stick Middie, Ryan Hinkley had a huge night with 4 goals 2 assists and 7 take-aways.   Luke Macchia also had a great outing with 2 goals and 4 assists.  Christian Funk scored a pair of goals, 1 assist, and picked up 5 ground balls. Hagerty will travel to Apopka tomorrow night and the Saints will play host to the Community School of Naples tomorrow.
