IMG Academy to Host 2014-15 FHSAA Lacrosse Finals

BRADENTON, Fla.  – The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) today announced the selection of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida as host venue for the 2014 and 2015 FHSAA Boys and Girls Lacrosse Finals. “We look forward to providing a world-class experience for the teams, coaches and spectators who will converge at IMG Academy for the FHSAA Lacrosse Finals State Championship,” remarked Gary Pluchino, Vice President, IMG Performance. “As a campus that truly embraces the spirit of competition, IMG will provide a great stage for the state’s best teams to compete on.” The tournament annually features the top four boys and girls teams in the state of Florida, drawing several thousand spectators. As the official television partner of the FHSAA, Bright House Sports Network will produce, air and webcast each game at the finals. “We are looking forward to bringing our state lacrosse championship to IMG Academy, where participants and their families will be greeted by a state-of-the-art facility, top-notch tournament operations, and great hospitality from the surrounding community” said Roger Dearing, Executive Director of the FHSAA. IMG Academy’s campus features the new state-of-the-art IMG Academy Stadium, which seats 5,000 and boasts a broadcast-ready press and hospitality box with coach, press, and radio rooms, as well as VIP suites.
