IMG Holds On To Top Oxbridge

IMG brought its college commit laden line-up to West Palm Beach last night to take on the Oxbridge Thunderwolves in an early season match up of two of the state’s best teams. The Ascenders started fast, jumping out to a 10-3 lead in the first half and held on for a 16-11 win at Oxbridge last night in West Palm Beach. The quality of play on both sides of the ball was aggressive and skilled, 
with the IMG boarders putting on the occasional show with their behind the back passing (left) and shooting. IMG is clearly a different type of team, featuring many players who are refining their games before they move on to the next level. No matter, it was great for the Oxbridge team to compete against them, and compete they did.
As shown by the photo above, IMG faced a ferocious Thunderwolf defense, but the Ascender defense
was also tough to break. A tribute to both offenses, it was a high scoring game, and not one goal came easily.
