IMG Nationals Lacrosse National Championship Gets Underway at IMG Academy, Nov. 21-23

The second annual IMG Nationals year-end lacrosse national championship is set to get underway at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., Nov. 21-23. This year’s event will see a field of more than 50 elite club teams from 15 states and Canada competing for the national championship titles in the U13, U15, U17 and U19 divisions. College coaches from many of the top programs in the nation like Albany, Georgetown, Rutgers, Loyola and many others will be out in force to look for the next generation of collegiate lacrosse stars. Each of the winning teams will also earn an invitation to return to IMG Academy for a free week of camp. Pool play takes place on Saturday, Nov. 22 starting at 8 am until 5 pm. The teams will face off for the playoff rounds on Sunday, Nov. 23 starting at 8 am, with the semifinals and finals scheduled to begin no sooner than noon. The 2014 IMG Nationals features the introduction of the U13 division. Last year’s champions were IMG Academy (U19), Six Nations Thunder Tribe (U17) and Atlanta Crush (U15).
