Jumbos Kempe and Kalkavan are Champs!

Happy Memorial Day to all. The fact that we can enjoy such simple pleasures as playing and watching lacrosse is the direct result of the sacrifices of so many.
Congratulations to Benjamin’s Colby Kembe (above, right) and St. Andrew’s Cem Kalkavan (below, right with his dad) for their thrilling win over Salisbury yesterday in the Division III national championship game!
While scouring the online universe for photos, FLN happened upon two of Florida legend and former D1 player (and one must think future Hall of Fame candidate) Jimbo (Jumbo?) Jacobs making the rounds in Baltimore. Would referee Jacobs have the nerve to throw a flag on the two in the picture at the bottom?
Today, two more Floridians will be crowned champions. Game time is 1:00 on ESPN2 and it looks like it will also be shown on EPNU with the post game show on the “U.” We can be trusted, but check your local listings to be sure.
