HOW IT HAPPENED
  • For the second straight game, the Seahawks fell behind 1-0 before scoring the next four goals to take a 4-1 advantage.
  • After both teams traded goals, the Spartans netted two straight to climb within 5-4.
  • However, Keiser tallied two unanswered goals to stretch the margin to 7-4. Missouri Baptist got a goal back but two straight tallies for the Seahawks upped the advantage to 9-5.
  • The Seahawks went on to take a 9-6 lead into the halftime break.
  • Keiser netted the first two goals of the new half before Missouri Baptist got a goal back to make it 11-7.
  • KU then scored three consecutive goals to take their largest lead of the game at 14-7.
  • The Spartans outscored the Seahawks 2-1 down the stretch, but Keiser came away with the 15-9 win.
