DAVIE, FL – January 28, 2014 – Broward Lacrosse Advantage, Inc. (BLA) is excited to announce that former world champion and professional coach Kevin Finneran will be joining the Barracudas summer travel coaching staff. Coach Finn is considered one of the most accomplished lacrosse players to ever play or coach the game. Along with coaching one Barracudas team this summer Coach Finn will also be helping BLA with curriculum development and offering private lessons. “We are thrilled to have Coach Finn with our program,” said Pete Dunne, President of Broward Lacrosse Advantage. ”He worked with us in our Winter Box league and loved the passion and quality coaching the he brought to the program. We look forward to all the ways he can help our players and our programs.” Coach Finn added “I am excited to be a part of the Barracuda family this summer says Finneran. I have coached dozens of the kids over the years including this winter in the box league and I appreciate the opportunity to make them better players. Coaches Dunne and Bamforth have built great programs for the kids and I hope to add my passion, energy and knowledge of the sport to the organization.” More about Coach Finn: Coach Finn has been involved in lacrosse for over 25 years as a professional player and coach. He has coached at every level from collegiate to youth and garnered 8 World Championships along the way. Most notably, as a member of Team USA in 1998, where he won the gold metal. Coach Finn has helped over 100 prep students achieve their goal of playing college lacrosse.
