Lake Highland Prep Gains Four Spots in the FAB 50 National Rankings

The highest ranked newcomer is No. 35 Somerville (Somerville, N.J.), which knocked off defending Tournament of Champion winner Ridge (N.J.) 6-5. Also entering the rankings this week are Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, Mass.), Summit (Summit, N.J.), Foothill-Santa Ana (Santa Ana, Calif.) and Bellevue (Bellevue, Wash.). Surprise Team: Other than Somerville’s win last week, Bellevue travelled east and knocked off two teams that have appeared in past FAB 50’s: St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Alexandria, Va.) and Langley (Langley, Va.). High Riser: Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) jumped up 16 spots this week as the Crusaders prepare to play Chaminade (Mineola, N.Y.) on Tuesday. On the Cusp:A pair of Pennsylvania teams are next in line in terms of votes this week: Avon Grove, which was No. 23 last week received 22 points and Central Bucks East (Doylestown, Pa.) had 21 points this week.
