Junior Hayden LaVangie, one of seven Golden Eagles to find the net, tallied 6 goals as visiting Fleming Island cruised to an 18-6 romp over Flagler Palm Coast Tuesday night. The Fleming Island defense, buoyed by the return of junior Jaren Szafranski, was stout in killing six of seven penalties. Sophomore goalies Ryan Kelly and Jason Kunath combined for twelve saves. The Golden Eagles, now 5-4, host Mandarin Thursday in a key district battle.
