NXTsports is proud to announce a partnership with LB3 that will unite NXT, a national leader in youth sports education and event management, with LB3, the foremost lacrosse company in the southeastern United States. Under the partnership, NXT will immediately take over operational control of LB3’s successful portfolio of lacrosse events, including the Summer Jam in Atlanta, Rippin’ at the Ranch in Lakewood Ranch (Fla.) and the New Year’s Cup in Orlando, (Fla.). “LB3 Lacrosse is extremely excited to be turning over lacrosse tournament operations to NXT Events,” LB3 founder Liam Banks said. “NXT runs the best events in the country and are true professionals. LB3 Lacrosse has always been about instruction and this gives us an opportunity to concentrate on club teams, Casey Powell Camps, pro player clinics and leagues. We are happy to be turning over these events to NXT so they can continue to run the best events in the Southeast.” “I have worked with Andy and the NXT team in the past and we’ve been monitoring the NXT brand and what they do,” Banks added. “We wanted to get out of the summer tournament events, but also wanted to make sure the hard work that we’ve put in over the past five years was in good hands. NXT was a perfect fit to help us concentrate on what we love to do the most: teach lacrosse.” The addition of these events offers NXT the opportunity to continue its growth in the South as well as expand its national summer schedule, a slate that includes the Boys Showcase Camps, the Philly Summer Invitational, the NXT Cup (Pa.), the Rock River Cup (Ill.), the South Carolina Shootout and the Lacrosse State Fair (Ky). The partnership has also led to the launch of NXT’s newest Showcase Lacrosse Camp, scheduled for June 2015 at Division I Mercer University in Macon (Ga.). Often imitated, NXT’s series of Showcase Lacrosse Camps has developed into the nation’s best series of individual education and exposure events. The newest Showcase Lacrosse Camp will ensure that elite players from the South have the opportunity to experience the high-level training and exposure that NXT’s Showcase Lacrosse division provides while staying close to home. “We’re excited that Liam and LB3 turned to NXT to run their portfolio of events,” NXT President & CEO Andy Hayes said. “This partnership strengthens both NXT and LB3. LB3 is a proven lacrosse education leader in the southeastern United States and this partnership strengthens NXT’s relationship with this region. It also ensures that LB3 players are offered the best opportunities to develop their games at NXT’s industry- leading events that are held at exceptional venues.” About LB3 Founded in 2005, LB3 is a lacrosse education company with headquarters in Atlanta.
