Leon wins big, defeats Lincoln 18-9

Lincoln came out fast and went up 3-1.  However Leon battled back and went on a run to take the lead at 7-5.  When Lincoln appeared to bring it with one a stick check revealed an illegal stick.  The penalty took the goal back and Leon then capitalized on the non-releasable man-up putting scoring twice.  This put the score at 9-5 instead of 7-6, a 3 goal swing that really took the wind out of the sails for Lincoln.  Leon ended up running away with the game after that point.  Kyle Schwarz led Leon in scoring with 4 goals and 1 assist.  Colin Martinez led a disappointed Lincoln quad with 3 goals and 2 assists. Lincoln (3-6) will head to Georgia this weekend to play Riverwood (6-0) and North Springs (2-3).  The Leon Lions (4-5) will head to Buchholz (4-3) on March 21.
