Some time back I put together this list of all the Division I players that had Florida ties, whether they grew up down here and played at a Florida high school or was raised in Florida and went north to play high school ball. I think this list is comprehensive because I took it off the actual roster pages of colleges but if anyone is missing please let me know and I’ll add to it. Just a little thing to show how far we’ve come.  I believe there is 49 50 names (thanks to Shane Rye for Chase Elliot)!  Which means that Florida produced about 2% of all Division I players this season!
