Mike Jones coached Maclay for two solid seasons which included entries into the FHSAA Elite 8 in the State Playoffs.  He recently had to step down due to circumstances that required he move closer to his family. Jones coached a Maclay team that went 19-4 in 2014 and will be returning most of it’s starters.  This is certainly going to be viewed as one of the state’s premier head-coach job openings for this off-season.  A representative we spoke with said the search committee is looking for the right person to take Maclay lacrosse to the next level and pointed out that Maclay lacrosse enjoys strong support from the parent/boosters group.
